Leon is a self-taught London based filmmaker. He has a reputation for being unflinchingly honest in addressing racism and injustice. His short documentary That's Not Ours premiered at Sheffield Doc / Fest in 2018. The film is a deeply personal exploration of racist media stereotypes and the consequences faced by young black men and boys as a result all framed around Leon's younger brother Ethan - an innocent victim of knife crime. Leon is passionate about telling stories that challenge stereotypes and change perceptions.

Orlando is the director of the Academy Award-winning Netflix short documentary The White Helmets. His debut feature documentary Virunga was BAFTA and Academy Award nominated and won over 50 international awards including an Emmy, a Peabody, a Grierson and a duPont-Columbia Award for outstanding journalism. His subsequent feature Evelyn won the 2018 BIFA for Best Documentary. Orlando is drawn to telling inspiring stories of humble heroism from around the world, often combining intimate personal narratives with macro level politics, powerful visual aesthetics and on-the-ground journalistic muck-racking. He has worked in impenetrable and difficult environments, from pirate boats to war zones, and has won over 100 international film and advertising awards.

Matthew Wenham

Matt Wenham started his career at the BBC and has subsequently produced and directed factual and factual entertainment programmes for a range of broadcasters. His career so far has taken him all over the world and given him the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and organisations, including refugees in Uganda, Amish communities in the USA, NASA, the Air Ambulance Service and the British Army. Matt was delighted to join Grain Media in 2018, where he continues to produce and direct with passion.
