Guy is a writer, director and producer. He was co-producer and co-writer of Channel Four's BAFTA and International Emmy winning Drop the Dead Donkey. With Andy Hamilton, he wrote, directed and produced five series of the RTS and British Television Award winning Outnumbered, broadcast on BBC1 and the Scottish BAFTA nominated What We Did on Our Holiday, starring David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly. Guy and Andy wrote and directed Ballot Monkeys for the 2015 General Election, Power Monkeys for the 2016 EU Referendum campaign and Election Spy for the 2017 General Election.
Ryan produced Russian Roulette, directed by Screen Star of Tomorrow Ben Aston, which was acquired by The New Yorker and screened at Sundance. He has worked with an eclectic range of filmmakers including BAFTA winner Matt Greenhalgh, and Olivier award winner Jessica Swale. His shorts have played all over the world including LSFF, Underwire, Austin and Lavaux, and he has partnered with short form culture app Vero on three exclusive releases. He is in currently in development on his debut feature with Film4. Ryan also has an extensive background working for an international sales agent.
