Isabel Freer

development executive

Isabel is head of development at Electric Shadow Company, where she oversees their slate of film TV and documentary projects. Most recently she exec produced Ed Lovelace’s critically acclaimed documentary Name Me Lawand. Isabel is also producing writer/director Isabella Wing-Davey's debut feature. Prior to this Isabel worked as a freelance development producer on a number of films including Love Wedding Repeat, Churchill, The Journey and the Teddy Pendergrass documentary If You Don’t Know Me. She worked in Los Angeles for seven years as a production and development executive; her credits during this time include Manchester by the Sea, The Adjustment Bureau and Gus Van Sant's Promised Land. Isabel also co-produced the Howard Zinn documentary The People Speak

 
 
 

Georgia Goggin

development executive

Georgia is a producer, screenwriter and director. Her producing credits include Pretty Red Dress, for which she was nominated for the Breakthrough Producer BIFA in 2023, and the celebrated short We Love Moses, which sold to HBO and Netflix and is now available on Disney+. Georgia’s writing and directing credits include Bend, starring Robin Weaver and Greg Wise, which was funded by BBC Drama and screened at festivals including Encounters, London Short Film Festival and Underwire, where she was nominated for Best Director. She is currently writing a feature for The Electric Shadow Company and a TV series for The Development Partnership. Georgia is an alum of Sundance, EIFF and Rotterdam talent development programmes.

 
 
 

Myah Asha Jeffers

development executive

Myah is a Barbadian-British writer, director, photographer and dramaturg. As the previous Literary Associate at the Royal Court Theatre, she was responsible for shaping the works of new and established playwrights. Myah's photographic work has won the Portrait of Britain Prize twice and The Photography Foundation Social Documentary Award. She is the 2024 recipient of the Joan Wakelin Bursary (Royal Photographic Society & The Guardian). Her photographs have been featured in publications such as Vogue, The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine, ELLE and The Independent amongst others. She has also worked in collaboration with the likes of Tate, Somerset House, ICA, South London Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery. Myah’s debut short film Bathsheba world premiered at Inside Out (TIFF) and has screened at festivals including New York Shorts, Leeds FF, Norwich FF and Atlanta’s Out on Film, garnering nominations for Best British Film and Best Director.

 
 
 

John Jencks

John has been working in the film industry for over 15 years as a writer, director and producer. His short film Go Away, Please! (2009) won the Shooting People prize at London Short Film Festival. John's debut feature, The Fold, starred Catherine McCormack and got its cinematic release in 2013. John's most recent film The Hippopotamus, based on a novel by Stephen Fry, was released in summer 2017. His recent producing credits include The Trust (starring Nicholas Cage), Out of Blue (dir. Carol Morley), Guns Akimbo (starring Daniel Radcliffe) and the upcoming reboot of The Crow.
