Olivia Martin McGuire, Director

Olivia is an award-winning filmmaker living in London via Shanghai, Hong Kong and Australia. Coming from a background in photojournalism and fine arts, she has a dynamic and forensic ability to find the heart of a story, while pushing the cinematic medium in new and interesting ways. Her first feature China Love is streaming on Netflix and her animated short Freedom Swimmer has won 50 awards including best film at Millennium Docs Against Gravity, Aspen, Palm Springs and highly commended at The Griersons. It was commissioned by ARTE and acquired by PBS POV. She currently has development funding for a docudrama feature and a series.

Matt Diegan, Producer

Matt is an award-winning producer and co-founder of Earthling Films. He has a broad range of experience developing and producing documentaries across the world which have appeared on platforms including Amazon Prime Video, The BBC, National Geographic, The New York Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, DAZN, The Olympic Channel, Wired & Red Bull TV. His work has been recognised at the Grierson Awards, Realscreen Awards, Webbys, One World Media Awards, Telly  Awards, Kinsale Sharks, D&AD Awards, London Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest, DOC NYC, True/False & CPH:DOX. In 2016 he was nominated for an “Achievement in Production” award at the British Arrows for his work with the Refugee Olympic Team. He has participated in the Future Producer program at Sheffield Doc/Fest and in 2021 was named on PACTs Future 30 list as one of the most exciting emerging producers in the UK.
