Angela Clarke, Director

Angela is a BAFTA nominated filmmaker and former alumni of the Sheffield DocFest Future Producers School. Her short film Bachelor, 38, which Angela produced and directed, was officially selected for several film festivals including the Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival, the 13th British Short Film Festival Berlin, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Badalona Film Festival in Spain before being shortlisted by BAFTA for Best British Short Film. Bachelor, 38 also screened at numerous film festivals around the world, and as part of the Bafta Shorts Touring Package the film played in a variety of Art House Cinemas, Theatres, Cultural Centres and Museums globally. It was licensed by the BBC and had a short theatrical window and online release with Curzon Home Cinema.

Gannesh Rajah, Producer

Gannesh is a BIFA award-winning producer. His first feature documentary, the BFI supported If the Streets Were on Fire, had its World Premiere at the 66th BFI London Film Festival, had a limited theatrical release, was acquired by BBC Storyville, and screened at Parliament. The film was longlisted for a BAFTA and won two BIFAs, including Best Feature Documentary, with Gannesh being nominated for Breakthrough Producer. His latest short, Puffling, screened in-competition at SXSW, qualified for the Academy Awards after winning the Jury Award for Documentary at Aspen, and was acquired by The New Yorker. He was previously awarded the prestigious Doc Society Fellowship, is a Sheffield DocFest and BFI Insight Producer alumni, is part of the BAFTA connect and Film London’s Breaking the Glass Ceiling cohorts, and was named a Film London Lodestar (2023).
